The release of the Free Fire September 2022 (OB36) update is approaching, and the community wait will end in a few days. The recently completed Advanced Server has provided players with a detailed outline of all the changes the developers will introduce in the new version.
Scheduled to take place on the 14th, the Free Fire update was postponed by Garena and the new version of the game will only arrive on September 21, 2022 , as the exclusive sources of Free Fire Mania indicate. Free Fire September 2022 update details
Maintenance schedule and update release time
As we anticipated, the OB37 update will be released on the 21st of September . On the day of its launch, the Free Fire servers will be down for maintenance and it will not be possible to access the game, allowing a smooth transition to the new version.
For the Brazilian server, this specific maintenance break starts at dawn and lasts more than eight hours. The following are projected maintenance times based on previous updates:
- Start time: 1:00 am
- End time: 9:30 am
The new updated version of Free Fire will be published a few hours after the maintenance break , with an estimated launch time of approximately 5 am. After its release, players must install it through their respective app stores. However, they will not be able to play the game until the downtime has expired.

Free Fire update pre-registration
On Free Fire, a preview of the “ Update pre-registration ” event will be added to the event section. As stated therein, players who log in between September 21-25, 2022, will be eligible for various rewards after installing the update.
