Free Fire down: maintenance time and when the server will be ready (September 2022)
September 2022 update takes place this Wednesday (21) and brings numerous changes to Garena's battle royale
The upcoming Free Fire September 2022 update , with the OB36 version, has been a hot topic in the community for quite some time. The update will include new features like the new laser treatment weapon , character and weapon balancing, optimizations and new features like Luna and Tasuya characters.
At first, the update is scheduled to go live this Wednesday, September 21, 2022, along with the Free Fire Max update. As usual, players will not be able to access the game servers for a while during the update day due to maintenance. In other words, the Free Fire server will be down .

Here is the maintenance schedule for the Free Fire update in September 2022 ( OB36 ):
- Free Fire maintenance start time: September 21, 2022 from 00:00 am Brasília time (GMT -3).
- Free Fire maintenance end time: September 21, 2022 at 11:00 am Brasília time (GMT -3).
Therefore, the Free Fire servers will be ready after 11:00 am this Wednesday, September 21, right after the game update .
According to information from Garena on social media, the maintenance will be as follows:
"Please note that the game will be undergoing maintenance from 12:00 AM to 11:00 AM! Are you as excited as we are to try out the new features? So are we! During this time, you will not be able to log into the game or play normally. worry, you will be able to access the normal one right after updating the version soon!"
During the maintenance period, players will not be able to access Garena Free Fir and will receive an error message that reads: “ The server will be ready soon ”. This message means that the server is down due to maintenance and will return at 11 am, as soon as the update is complete.
Users should expect the update to be available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store a few hours after the maintenance starts. Later, they will be able to download the latest version, but will not be able to play it until the maintenance is finished.
