In the Indian market, Free Fire has been a great success, generating an exceptionally large player base and a considerable audience. The title also enjoys a thriving ecosystem, with events with millions of prizes lined up in 2022.

Fans and gamers were shocked by the news of the game's ban in India , which came after everything was going well. However, Indian players can still access the game for now even after the suspension, although it is unclear how long this will last.

Even before the Free Fire ban was announced , players who tried to access the game over a specific network were presented with an error message. The issue started on February 12, 2022 and the developers announced that they are investigating this issue. The error reads the following:

"Network Connection Error"

However, things got worse after that as Free Fire was removed from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store . Initially, players thought it was just a technical issue, but their fears of the game being banned were confirmed this morning.

Other users who have the game installed on their devices can still access and play the game normally without any issues . The only issue faced by all users is an error message that appears when making an in-app purchase , informing the user that the item is not available for sale. This is mainly due to the unavailability of the game in the store.

When it comes to Free Fire Max , its name is not among the banned Apps. However, it is only available for download from the Google Play Store, not the Apple App Store. In addition, many users have also revealed that they are not experiencing any errors when making in-app purchases in this version of the game.

It is worth remembering that, so far, there has been no official response from the developers of Garena and Free Fire regarding the entire scenario, after the game was officially declared banned in India by the Government.
