Garena Free Fire began today (14) the process of separating players by platforms in ranked matches, Free Fire Mania had previously communicated the company's decision.

From now on, players who use a computer to emulate Free Fire and participate in matches will only be connected to other "emulators" players.

After the changes, there is a certain difficulty for emulator players to find a game, many have faced the error: Take-off Time Out , then try to play a ranked game.

As for the "mobiles", apparently nothing has changed regarding the connection of matches.

Remember that Free Fire emulator players are those who play Battle Royale through a computer. Already mobiles players, as the name implies, they are players who use mobile devices, known as phones and tablets.

In general, platform separation only works in ranked matches, both in Battle Royale (BR) and Contra Squad (CS) mode.

Likewise, emulator players are treated as an exception in Free Fire . When a player on that platform joins a SQUAD or DUO formation, allies are notified that "an emulator player has joined the team".

In practice, mobile players play ranked matches (BR and CS) only with other mobile players. Likewise, emulator players only play with other emulator players.

In principle, if a SQUAD or DUO is formed by mixed players, with at least one emulator player, the match is ranked as an emulator match .

Note that the rules are only valid for ranked Free Fire matches. Casual Matches, Custom Rooms and other modes continue without the split.
