In the most recent live stream, Amitbhai said the following:

“Free Fire made me what I am today and it was through the game that I was able to connect with all of you.”

The YouTuber added:

“Many players are claiming that the game has not been banned as there has been no press release yet. If the government has banned it, we must abide by the rules set by them. Any action they take is aimed at the betterment of the general public and therefore must be followed.”

He said:

“If the news of the ban were false, Free Fire would have issued an official statement on its social media. But there is still nothing there.”

The Free Fire MAX version was omitted from the list of banned apps and as a result many people with decent devices switched to it. However, as both variants are nearly identical except for the visuals, there is still some ambiguity about when until when it will be available.
