Free Fire OB55: 7 weapons found in the game files

By Ronny Rolim

Seven weapons appear with new descriptions in the files of the next version of Free Fire: Skorp, FO12, M200, M7, RPK, Hawk, and TEC-9. The texts hint at the characteristics of each piece of equipment, including a submachine gun capable of penetrating armor, a fully automatic shotgun, and a sniper that fires two shots in rapid succession.

The information was discovered during a study conducted by Free Fire Mania on the texts found in the APK related to OB55. However, the presence of the seven weapons in the files does not mean that all will be released simultaneously or available in traditional modes. As of this publication, Garena had not yet officially disclosed how each one would be implemented.

Free Fire Mania had early access to the texts in the APK of the next version of Free Fire and compiled the new descriptions related to the weapons. The analysis allows for the identification not only of their names but also their category, behavior, and intended function within the game.

Seven weapons found in the OB55 files of Free Fire

While analyzing the APK texts, Free Fire Mania identified seven names accompanied by specific operational descriptions. This is significant because the files do not provide only isolated references to the weapons: each one has a text explaining its category and primary combat characteristics.

The descriptions found are as follows:

  • Skorp: submachine gun focused on close-range combat, described as capable of taking on heavily armored enemies;
  • FO12: fully automatic shotgun with high firepower at close range;
  • M200: powerful precision rifle designed for long-range eliminations;
  • M7: assault rifle with high damage and significant recoil, suitable for medium-range combat;
  • RPK: light machine gun whose shot dispersion decreases during continuous fire, favoring suppression at medium range;
  • Hawk: high-damage sniper capable of firing two projectiles in quick succession, but with significant scope elevation after shots;
  • TEC-9: high-cadence pistol with good damage in bursts at close range, presented as a versatile secondary weapon.

The OB55 files analyzed by Free Fire Mania describe seven weapons with unique features, but do not confirm that all will be available to players in the update.

Skorp may stand out against armor

Among the descriptions found, Skorp grabs attention for its specialization indicated in the files. The text in English defines the weapon as an "armor-piercing SMG", meaning a submachine gun with armor penetration characteristics.

The description adds that it excels against heavily protected enemies at close range. However, the analyzed files do not provide values for damage, penetration, cadence, range, or exactly how this armor advantage will be calculated.

Thus, it is not yet possible to numerically compare the Skorp with other Free Fire weapons or determine its position in the meta.

FO12 appears as a fully automatic shotgun

The FO12 is directly described as a fully automatic shotgun, with high firepower in close confrontations and aimed at rapid attacks.

This characteristic is particularly important as it indicates that players can maintain a sequence of shots without the traditional operation of some other weapons in the category. However, information on magazine capacity, firing interval, damage, and accuracy is still lacking.

M200 and Hawk appear as long-range options

Two of the seven weapons have descriptions clearly aimed at long-range combat. The M200 is presented as a powerful precision rifle, designed for precise eliminations from afar.

The Hawk has a more specific mechanism. According to the text found by Free Fire Mania, the sniper is capable of firing two shots in quick succession. On the other hand, the weapon suffers a strong muzzle rise after each shot, a characteristic that may require greater control from the player.

The text suggests a risk-reward relationship: two quick shots can enhance offensive potential, while the recoil makes it difficult to keep the aim on the same target. The necessary values to evaluate this behavior have not yet appeared in the analyzed information.

M7, RPK, and TEC-9 complete the found list

The M7 appears as an assault rifle of high damage and heavy recoil, primarily suited for medium-range. The description suggests a powerful weapon, but one that may require more control during fire.

The RPK is classified as a light machine gun and has an unusual characteristic: its dispersion decreases as the player maintains continuous fire. According to the files, the aim is to make it suitable for suppressing enemies at medium range.

Finally, the TEC-9 appears as a high-cadence pistol, with good damage potential in bursts at close range. The internal text itself highlights its role as a flexible secondary weapon.

How were the OB55 weapons identified?

The information in this article was obtained by Free Fire Mania through the analysis of the texts present in the APK of the next version of Free Fire. In the files, Skorp, FO12, M200, M7, RPK, Hawk, and TEC-9 appear individually, each accompanied by a specific operational description.

Among the identified texts are expressions such as "armor-piercing SMG" for the Skorp, "fully automatic shotgun" for the FO12, and the indication that the Hawk fires two shots in quick succession. The existence of these descriptions provides technical evidence that the weapons are being prepared or utilized in the development of the next version.

However, this material should be interpreted within the context of a version still in development. The Advanced Server itself exists to test features that have not yet reached the public version of Free Fire.

Are the seven weapons confirmed for OB55?

It is still not possible to assert that the seven weapons will be released in the public version of OB55. What Free Fire Mania's analysis confirms is that the names and respective descriptions are present in the examined files of the next version.

There is another detail that requires caution. Recent material related to the Advanced Server mentions four new weapons, while the APK analysis found descriptions for seven names. This could mean that some of the weapons serve different purposes, belong to specific modes or tests, will be released later, or simply remain in the files without immediate activation.

For this reason, Free Fire Mania does not classify the seven as "new confirmed weapons of OB55" at this time. There is also insufficient information in the analyzed texts to confirm final statistics, locations of acquisition, or availability of each equipment in Battle Royale and Contra Squad modes.

Garena maintains the Advanced Server specifically as an environment to experiment with features that are not yet available in the main version; therefore, development content may undergo changes before release.

Free Fire Mania will continue to compare the OB55 files with the content actually made available during testing to identify which of these weapons will be activated. In the meantime, it is possible to consult the characteristics and statistics of the weapons currently available in Free Fire and follow the latest news from Free Fire.
