The Free Fire OB54 update, scheduled for June 24, 2026, will adjust six characters: three will receive buffs and three will face nerfs. The confirmation came through an official briefing sent by Garena to partners of the Free Fire Content Partner (FFCP) program. For now, only the names have been disclosed — the values and details of each ability have not yet been communicated.

Characters that will receive buffs in OB54

• Chrono
• Oscar
• Olivia

The three characters are expected to have their abilities strengthened in OB54. Chrono, who was once one of the most dominant characters in Free Fire history, is returning to Garena's attention — this time for a boost.

Characters that will receive nerfs in OB54

• Nero
• Maro
• Nikita

Nero is the character that draws the most attention: he has previously been the target of nerfs in past updates and is once again being adjusted downwards in OB54, indicating that Garena still considers his abilities above the desired balance. Maro and Nikita are also included in the list of characters with abilities deemed too strong for the current meta.

Details have not yet been disclosed

The official briefing only confirms which characters will be adjusted, without detailing the exact values of each change. The complete alterations — such as percentages, cooldown times, or range of abilities — are expected to be revealed when OB54 arrives at the Advanced Server of Free Fire, where players will be able to test the changes in practice before the official launch on June 24.
