The release of the Free Fire August 2021 (OB29) update is fast approaching, and players are looking forward to its arrival. There's a plethora of new content waiting for them, and based on the leaked update notes, a new weapon, mode and other changes are on their way to Garena's Battle Royale.
Similar to all recent updates, a video titled "Speak, Free Fire" was posted on the social media platform Garena Free Fire. It gives users an overview of all the new features and other features that will be released in Garena Free Fire soon.
The Free Fire August 2021 update will take place on August 4th from 1:00 am (Eastern Time) and will end around 10:00 am of the same day.

1v1 game mode
This 1v1 game mode was prevalent on Advanced Server and will be introduced with the new update. Participants will be placed on a new map called " FF Gladiators ", where they will also have the option to select a weapon of their choice.
Contra Squad Enhancements
In Contra Squad mode, a new option will be added, using which players can request a certain item from their teammates. Therefore, this would allow them to obtain items directly from the allies.
In addition, the game's automatic collection feature has been improved and high value items will now be collected first.
On top of this, players can bring and display their backpacks in a Contra Squad match. They just need to equip it in the profile.
Character improvements and vending machine
So far, at maximum level, Luqueta's Strike skill can give players 35 life points, 18 with each kill. After the Free Fire August 2021 update , your skill will be improved with a "buff" and will give you a maximum of 50 HP HP, 25 for each kill.
Jota's skill will also be changed in the OB29 update. Upon hitting enemies, players will regain HP health. Taking down an opponent will restore a specific percentage of their total HP.
A small adjustment has been made in the vending machine and the coin count will be present on the instant display.
New weapon and balance
With the update, AC80 , previously available on the Free Fire Advanced Server, will be added.
Additionally, based on the leaked update notes, players will have the ability to update the M4A1 to X, Y or Z versions using the M4 chip in the vending machine.

Finally, the M1887 weapon, known as the new TWELVE, will be nerfed (again) and its effectiveness will be reduced. Besides it, the XM8 and UZI will have a "buff", that is, an improvement. Garena has yet to confirm what details will change in the Free Fire August 2021 update.
