Free Fire continues to gather more than 100 million active users per day in 2026. This new milestone was officially announced by Sea Limited, the parent company of Garena, in the financial report for the second quarter of the year.
The number represents the daily average of active users of the game and shows that the battle royale maintains one of the largest communities in the mobile market, even after nearly nine years since its global launch.
Free Fire maintains over 100 million daily users
This information was presented by Sea Limited on August 11, 2026. In the document, the president and CEO of the company, Forrest Li, stated that Free Fire sustained Garena's strong performance during the quarter.
Free Fire recorded over 100 million active users per day, on average, in the second quarter of 2026.
This data specifically refers to Free Fire and should not be confused with the total quarterly user count of Garena. While the game surpassed 100 million daily active users, the entire gaming division of the company reached 666.3 million active users over the quarter.
To keep track of other official numbers and the evolution of the battle royale, Free Fire Mania compiles key data on the Free Fire statistics page.

What does it mean to have 100 million players per day?
The metric considers the average number of accounts that accessed Free Fire daily during the analyzed period. Therefore, it does not mean that it is always the same 100 million players nor does it represent the total number of accounts registered since launch.
In practice, the result shows that the game maintains an active community in different regions. Free Fire has a strong presence in Brazil, Latin America, Southeast Asia, India, and other markets where mobile games attract large audiences.
The report does not provide a breakdown of users by country nor does it state how many access traditional Free Fire and how many use Free Fire MAX. It also does not detail how many of these players made in-game purchases.
Free Fire boosted Garena's results
In addition to Free Fire's daily audience, Sea also released financial indicators for all of Garena. The reserves of the division, a metric used as an approximation of the money spent by users during the period, reached US$ 763.5 million, with an annual growth of 15.5%.
Garena's revenue reached US$ 746.6 million in the second quarter of 2026, an increase of 33.5% compared to the same period in 2025. According to the company, the rise was driven by the expansion of the active user base and a higher proportion of paying users.
- Quarterly active users of Garena: 666.3 million;
- Quarterly paying users: 68.1 million;
- Growth of paying users: 10.2% in one year;
- Garena's revenue: US$ 746.6 million;
- Garena's reserves: US$ 763.5 million.
These indicators cover all of Garena's operations, not just Free Fire. However, Sea itself pointed to the battle royale as the main contributor to the division's performance this quarter.
Brand reinforces the longevity of Free Fire
Launched worldwide in December 2017, Free Fire has traversed different generations of mobile devices and gone through dozens of major updates. Maintaining a daily audience above 100 million indicates that the title remains relevant in the global mobile gaming market.
For players, the announcement does not change rules, rewards, or events within the game. It is an official audience indicator that helps gauge the current size of the community and the importance of Free Fire to Garena's results.
Upcoming reports from Sea may show whether the game will sustain this average throughout the remainder of 2026. Other official data can be consulted on the Free Fire statistics and the latest Free Fire news.
