The Free Fire has officially received a new thematic partnership with AAA Lucha Libre, one of the largest professional wrestling organizations in Mexico. The event takes place between August 3 and 8, bringing free items, exclusive cosmetics, and a set inspired by Rey Mysterio, one of the greatest names in the history of world wrestling.
The collaboration is part of the game's weekly programming and includes missions, free rewards, and premium events, reinforcing Garena's strategy of investing in partnerships with major entertainment brands.
What is AAA Lucha Libre?
Although it is well-known in Mexico and other Latin American countries, AAA Lucha Libre Worldwide is still relatively unknown to some Brazilian audiences.
Founded in 1992, AAA, pronounced as “Triple A,” is one of the largest Mexican wrestling companies, recognized for its masked wrestlers, acrobatic moves, and striking characters. The organization is responsible for unveiling and popularizing several historical names in wrestling, including Rey Mysterio, who started his professional career in the company before gaining worldwide fame.
In recent years, AAA has returned to the international spotlight after partnering with WWE, further increasing its global presence.

The set will be offered through Free Fire's Turn-the-Card, an event where players flip cards to find available rewards.

The items will be available in a new edition of the Drop Bazaar, an event known for offering variable discounts on selected rewards.
Rey Mysterio is the main highlight
The entire campaign revolves around Rey Mysterio, one of the greatest icons of world wrestling.
His classic look, featuring a golden mask and championship belt, inspired various cosmetics for the partnership. Additionally, the exclusive set will be obtainable through the Turn-the-Card event, while other accessories will be available in free events and the Drop Bazaar.
There will also be free items
Not all rewards will require diamonds.
Garena confirmed that part of the collaboration can be unlocked for free, including accessories, banners, masks, and other cosmetics distributed throughout the week. However, the rarer items, such as the complete Rey Mysterio set, will be linked to premium events.
Is it worth participating?
Even for those who don't follow wrestling, this is a collaboration different from the traditional ones in Free Fire.
