Free Fire: new look, new chapter comes to the game
Free Fire is evolving to better reflect “Your Battle, Your Style” – the brand’s core value at its heart – updating the brand’s entire visual identity
By
Ronny Rolim
The updated elements are designed to echo the energy of Free Fire 's evolving community while celebrating the competitive, free-spirited, lively, expressive and inclusive spirits that our community has brought to Garena 's Battle Royale for nearly five years since its launch.
New Free Fire Logo
Flatter, simpler, but more modern. The new Free Fire logo is created with a carefully calculated italic angle to convey a sense of movement and progression, and a few strokes that intentionally disappear to add a touch of style. We wish to reflect a more youthful, free-spirited shift in our brand's hue.

New Free Fire knife icon
One of the most iconic elements of our brand, the Free Fire Knife icon deserves a modern redesign. We applied two Golden Spirals to its design and transformed it into a clean, modern and stylish silhouette.

New short “FF” logo
Adopting the details of the new Free Fire Knife Icon, the short “FF” logo will become an iconized representation of the Free Fire brand going forward. With the short logo ingrained in our branding system, we are proud to officially endorse our “ FF ” moniker from now on.
Slogan icon “BATTLE IN STYLE”
Our brand slogan icon has a simple yet powerful appearance to maintain consistency with the Free Fire logo when used together, although on other occasions you may see various forms of “BATTLE IN STYLE” art as we embrace all kinds of styles from different trends and cultures all over the world!

New GFF font (aka “Garena Free Fire”)

The GFF font is a custom Free Fire co-creation with noted font designer Akira Kobayashi. Inspired by the new Free Fire logo and the technical details of our game interface, the font applied geometric and beveled cuts to convey dynamism, while its rounded corners ensure a pleasant reading experience in and out of the game.
GFF supports 4 language families (Latin, Arabic, Devangari and Thai); its character set also supports Czech, Turkish, Icelandic and many other languages.
Have fun exploring our new look and welcome to the new Free Fire chapter!
