The Contra Squad receives direct changes with the start of Season 37 of Ranked on June 1, 2026: two new limited-time random stores will enter the mode, weapons such as AUG and G36 have been rebalanced, and the M24-III is added to the weapon store. These changes apply to all servers, including Brazil.

The information was released by the official Free Fire account on Instagram, which detailed each adjustment for the new season.

Two new random stores in Contra Squad

The main novelty of Season 37 includes two limited-time random store events, available from June 1 to June 24 within Contra Squad:

• Submachine Gun Store: exclusive random store with SMG type weapons
• Shotgun Store: exclusive random store with shotguns

The stores appear randomly during matches, offering an extra layer of strategy for those who know how to take advantage of them at the right moment in the round.

Changes in the fixed store of Contra Squad

The standard store of the mode also received adjustments:

• AWM-Y has been replaced by the AWM — the original version of the sniper returns to the store
• M24-III has been added — new precision rifle available for purchase during matches

Weapon rebalancing: AUG, G36, and Kingfisher

Garena adjusted the attributes of three weapons present in the Contra Squad. Here’s what changed:

AUG and variants (AUG-I, AUG-II, AUG-III)

• Damage +8%
• Shooting accuracy +8% to +10%
• Armor penetration +2% to +6% (in variants I, II, and III)
• Reload speed -15%
• Movement speed while shooting -12%

The AUG gains in damage and accuracy, but loses mobility while shooting. This change favors players who use the weapon in mid-range combat with a steady position.

G36

• Shooting accuracy +5%
• Movement speed while shooting +20%

The G36 benefited the most from the update. The 20% increase in mobility while shooting may bring it back among the top choices in Contra Squad.

Kingfisher (Chim Bói Cá)

• Damage +3%
• Shooting accuracy +10%
• Movement speed while shooting -10%

Moderate adjustment, with improvement in accuracy and a slight loss of mobility.
