Recently, Garena took a big step in its fight against illegal trade within Free Fire , a practice that has disrupted the integrity of the game. The company has begun implementing a series of harsh penalties to combat this issue.

With the growing number of players using their signatures (Bio) to carry out illicit activities, such as selling accounts and using third-party software to advance in the rankings , Garena decided to act assertively. From now on, any hack/cheat promotion or use of third-party software will be treated as a serious violation, resulting in strict penalties.

How account bans will happen on Free Fire

1st violation

For the first violation, players will face a 90-day BIO subscription lock, as well as having their accounts suspended for 14 days. Additionally, your BR/CS ranks will be reset to Bronze rank, and you will be removed from ranked temporarily.

  • 90-day subscription lock (Bio)
  • Block account for 14 days
  • Reset BR/CS to Bronze rank
  • Removed from ranked

2nd Violation

In case of a second violation, the punishment becomes more severe, including a permanent block of the signature in the BIO, suspension of the account for 30 days, reset of the rank to Bronze and permanent removal from the rankings. A third violation will result in a permanent account lock .

  • Permanent subscription lock
  • Block account for 30 days

Furthermore, Garena is alert to guilds that use their names, slogans or warnings to promote these illicit practices. Guilds found promoting violations within Free Fire will be dissolved, reinforcing Garena's commitment to maintaining a fair and safe gaming environment.

The company has also identified and begun combating what it describes as " dirty ranks ", where players rig matches to unfairly rank up. Strict measures are being applied, including resetting patents to Bronze and the possibility of permanent account blocking after repeated violations.

With these measures, Garena hopes to restore fairness and maintain a healthy competitive environment in Free Fire . Actions are being taken regularly to investigate and resolve these issues throughout the season.
