Osaka , Colombian Free Fire organization, declared on April 4 as the champion of the Free Fire Pro Series 2022 in the United States (USA), had its title removed, as well as the vacancy in the Free Fire World Cup canceled after the player JEREMY was caught using hack during competition.

Although Osaka fired the player for breach of contract as soon as it learned of the incident, the officials of the American Free Fire League were emphatic and punished the team with disqualification from the Free Fire World Cup.

After the 18 matches of the grand final, the player Jeremy , who used hack in the competition, appeared with a K/D (Kills x Deaths) rate of 2.0. Compared to LBFF , player Yago from B4 , best player in the group stage, managed a rate of 1.5.

Immediately, the team issued an official statement on their social media, which can be seen below:

“Today we lost our spot that guaranteed us in the Play-In of the Free Fire World Cup on May 14 in the city of Sentosa. Recently, after a resolution by Garena and the entire Free Fire Pro Series team, it was determined that former Osaka player Jeremy used illegal files during the final stage of the competition, betraying the trust of the team and his teammates, in addition to harm the competitive experience of our teams and teammates in the league.”

In the same vein, the team also communicated the player's dismissal:

“We at Osaka, want to make official the dismissal of the player for breach of contract, as we guarantee the correct competitive performance of the leagues where we participate and we apologize to our fans, organizers, sponsors and other organizations affected by this situation.”

It is worth remembering that Osaka was the 2022 FFPS champion in the tiebreaker, with just 8 more kills than the FUEGO team, runner-up in the competition.

Now, although there is still no official announcement regarding the team that will replace Osaka in the world, it is possible that the FUEGO organization will be the team to play in the Free Fire World Series 2022 Play-In . The team was runner-up in the competition and there is no time for a new decision.

The Free Fire World Series 2022 takes place on the 14th (qualifiers) and 21st (final) of May. There will be 22 teams, with 12 spots in Play-IN and 10 spots straight to the grand final. In addition, two spots are reserved for Brazilian teams.
