A study by NetBet, with data from Nielsen Super Data, Forbes and Social Blade, raised how much the main games in the world market make. Among the 20 games on the list, the best known in Brazil are: Free Fire, Roblox, Grand Theft Auto V, Pokemon GO and Fortnite , all of them are billing successes, but do you know how much money each game earns for its developers?
The NetBet website shows in real time how much each game earns per seconds, minutes, hours and days, giving a dimension of the financial success of each one. To arrive at the values, the survey counted digital sales, "microtransactions" in items from each of the games, for two years.
How much does each game make in money
Overall, in just 24 hours, Roblox manages to earn $6.6 million. Next, Free Fire grossed $6.08m, Pokemon GO $ 5.4m , Fortnite $5.1m and GTA V $2.8m. In the list of 20 games, Roblox is in third place, followed by Free Fire in fourth, Fortnite in sixth, Pokemon GO in fifth and GTA V in 13th position.
In the same sense, with 30 days, Roblox, Free Fire and Fortnite have a turnover of more than 9 digits, that is, they exceed US$ 100 million per month. Bonds reach $194.5m, $180.9m and $152.8m respectively. GTA V is not far behind, with $84m. Following the reasoning of billing in 7 days, in a week Rockstar's success would catch up with the others.
It is noteworthy that the amounts in cash presented in this publication are in dollars, that is, to transform the Brazilian currency into real, the amounts must be multiplied by 5.24, the current dollar value.
