Free Fire offline: time for maintenance and when the server will be ready (January 2023)
First Free Fire update in 2023 takes place this Wednesday, January 11th
The upcoming Free Fire December 2022 update , with the OB38 version, has been a hot topic in the community for some time now. The update will include new features like the new character Santino Valentine , pet Mandacaru and changes to the Battle Royale (BR) and Contra Squad (CS) system.
At first, the first update of 2023 is scheduled to go live this Wednesday, January 11th, along with the Free Fire Max update. As usual, players will not be able to access the game's servers for a while during the update day due to maintenance. In other words, the Free Fire server will be down .

Here is the maintenance schedule for Free Fire January 2023 update ( OB38 ):
- Free Fire maintenance start time: January 11, 2023 from 1:00 am in Brasilia time (GMT -3).
- Free Fire maintenance end time: January 11, 2023 at 9:00 am in Brasilia time (GMT -3).
Therefore, the Free Fire servers will be ready after 9:00 am on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, shortly after the game update .
According to Garena 's information on social networks, the maintenance will be as follows:
"Please note that the game will be undergoing maintenance from 1:00 am to 9:00 am! Are you as excited as we are to try out the new features? So are we! During this period, you will not be able to log into the game or play normally. But don't worry. worry, you can access normal right after update version soon!"
During the maintenance period, players will not be able to access Garena Free Fire and will receive an error message that says: “ The server will be ready soon ”. This message means that the server is down due to maintenance and will return at 9 am, as soon as the update is completed.
Users should expect the update to be available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store a few hours after maintenance begins. Later, they will be able to download the latest version, but will not be able to play it until the maintenance ends.
