Free Fire is the most downloaded mobile game in February 2022
Brazil was the second country in terms of Garena's Battle Royale downloads
Garena 's popular Battle Royale game, Free Fire , maintained its top spot in February 2022 with 21.8 million downloads — a 22.7% increase over last year, according to a report by Sensor Tower. The game also ranked first in January with 24 million downloads.
Even after being banned in India , Free Fire ranked first in the country with around 9 million Free Fire downloads in February.
About 41% of all game downloads came from India , followed by Brazil with 9.7%. The fact that the game was banned in India in mid-February and is still at the top of the list speaks to its popularity in the country. India has always been one of the biggest markets for Free Fire .
With 19.5 million installs worldwide in February, Subway Surfers was the second most installed mobile game in the world. It represents an increase of 45.3% compared to February 2021, but also a decrease of around 17% compared to last month. India once again dominated with 18.8% of all total installations, followed by Brazil with around 7.8%. Tencent's PUBG Mobile , which reappeared in the top 10 list last month, has moved up one spot to sixth this month.
Additionally, February was the best month for Clash of Clans in the last three years, with around six million installs — an increase of around 48% year-over-year. This increase was attributed to the new update, which allows players to return Heroes to battle without waiting for them to heal.

With 8.7% of downloads, the US came in second while Brazil came in third with 7.8% .
