Free Fire tightens enforcement and warns of account bans
Free Fire strengthens its anti-cheat system, increasing the risk of permanent bans for mods, cheats and exploit abuse.

Free Fire players using modified apps, exploiting game bugs or engaging in cheating now face an immediate risk of permanent account bans, even if the violation is not detected during the match.
The change impacts the entire Free Fire ecosystem, including ranked matches, official events and reward distribution. Banned accounts permanently lose access to items, skins and progression.
The move comes amid a rise in mods, cheats and online content promoting prohibited behavior within competitive modes.
What can lead to an account ban in Free Fire
Based on official and community communications, Free Fire’s security system categorizes violations into three main groups.
Cheating and unfair gameplay
Tools such as aimbot, wallhack, auto headshot and enemy tracking are considered severe violations and usually result in permanent bans.
Game file modification
Apps that alter the APK, unlock skins or modify weapons violate game integrity, even if they claim to offer only visual changes.
Excessive bug exploitation
Intentionally abusing glitches or bugs to gain competitive advantage is treated as exploit behavior and may lead to account termination.
Impact on the Free Fire ecosystem
The stricter enforcement aims to protect fair competition, maintain ranked integrity and secure official events from manipulation.
The message to players is direct: any advantage gained outside official rules represents a lasting risk to their account.
