5 banned teams from FFWS 2026: see the reasons

By Ronny Rolim

Five teams were eliminated and punished with suspensions ranging from 1 to 2 years — and one player received a permanent ban. The organization of the FFWS Pakistan Spring 2026 issued an official ban notice this week after investigations confirmed cheating, smurfing, and false information provided to the tournament organization.

If you follow the competitive scene of Free Fire, you need to know what happened — because the punishments are severe and show that Garena is taking integrity seriously in official tournaments.

Who were the banned teams and why

The official statement, published by the profile @ffesportspk on Instagram, details the reasons for each disqualification. Check out the complete table:

Team Reason Punishment
Team 07 Third-party software on player LALA's device (violation of Section 6.2) LALA: permanent ban. Remainder of the team: 2 years suspension
Soul Breakerz Player LSEETO activated auto-ban for using cheats in-game LSEETO: 2 years. Other players: 1 year suspension
The Immortals False information about player FADI's location (violation of Section 2.1.4) Captain CHUZA and player FADI: 1 year each
Raghu ES Smurfing — use of false accounts (violation of Sections 6.2 and 6.3) Entire team: 2 years suspension
FS Official Confirmed smurfing after verification (violation of Section 6.2) Entire team: 2 years suspension

What is smurfing and why is it punished in Free Fire esports

Smurfing is when a player uses a secondary account — usually weaker or with a different identity — to compete in tournaments they would not be eligible for with their main account. In the competitive scene, this is considered serious cheating because it distorts the ranking and deceives organizers about the true identity of participants.

In the case of FFWS Pakistan Spring 2026, both Raghu ES and FS Official were caught by official verification and lost the right to compete in any Garena tournament for the next two years.

The permanent ban of player LALA explains everything

The harshest punishment was given to player LALA from Team 07: moderators found unauthorized third-party software installed on his device during the tournament. This directly violates Section 6.2 of the Official Rules, which prohibits any external application that could interfere with the game.

Due to being a direct and individual infraction, LALA has been banned permanently from all official Free Fire Esports tournaments. Teammates who did not use the software were also punished with two years suspension — which shows that responsibility falls on the entire team when a violation is detected within the team environment.

What changes in the competitive scene of Free Fire

With five teams out of the FFWS Pakistan Spring 2026 at once, the competition opens up new spaces for teams that followed the rules. But the bigger message is for the entire ecosystem: Garena has confirmed that it is using active identity checks and device tracking during tournaments — and is not forgiving those who try to bypass the system.

This precedent is relevant for any player who is considering competing professionally in Free Fire. The Official Rules of the FFWS contain severe clauses, and investigations are being taken seriously, regardless of the size or fame of the team.
