Free Fire World Cup 2022: time, format, teams and everything you need to know
Qualifying matches take place on the 14th, the grand final is on the 21st of May.
This May, the Free Fire World Series will take place on the island of Sentosa in Singapore. In all, 18 teams from 11 regions will participate in the mega event, which has a huge prize pool of US$ 2 million, around R$ 10 million reais. In addition, two Brazilian teams are in contention: LOUD and Vivo Keyd , champion and runner-up of the LBFF .
It is worth remembering that the world championship should have 22 teams from 13 regions, including India and the CIS. However, due to security concerns, the Indian government banned Free Fire in the country on February 14th. On the other hand, Garena canceled the 4th Season of the Free Fire Pro League CIS due to the Russia-Ukraine conflict .

Date and Time
At first, the Free Fire World Cup will be divided into two days, with May 14 for the qualifiers (Play-In) and May 21 for the grand final. In the same way on both days, the championship is broadcast from 10 am (Brasilia time).
Format
Overall, both the Play-In matches and the grand final matches will be divided into 3 maps: Bermuda, Kalahari and Purgatory (in that order). In addition, there will be 6 drops, two on each map.
To determine the four best teams from the qualifiers that will go on to the grand final , the points will be added and, if there is a tie, the Booyahs criterion will be used. Likewise, the grand Final will also feature six games.
Punctuation
In the same way as in the LBFF , in the FF World Cup , teams earn points per kill and also per placement. Therefore, BOOYAH (victory) adds up to 12 points, in the same way that each kill adds up to 1 point. Check the score below:
