Free Fire: Extra Charge has increased damage and decreased distance
Battle Royale update arrives this Wednesday (23) and inserts changes to several game items
Extra Charge ( Charge Buster ) was added to Free Fire in the last update in January 2022, also known as the “ Ilumina ” update. Although it is one of the most powerful of all short-range weapons, Garena , through its developers, decided to "buff" its damage, in other words, the weapon's firepower has increased.
According to the notes of the Free Fire update in March 2022 , released exclusively by Free Fire Mania , the Extra Charge will change from this Wednesday (23), after the new OB33 version becomes available.
In general, the Extra Charge is an automatic weapon that is in the category of shotguns / shotguns , however, with a special detail, as its main feature is that it does not seem to have ammunition, but energy. In this sense, it can be said that the weapon is a cross between a shotgun and a Plasma pistol.
Free Fire Extra Charge weapon changes
Despite a large decrease in effective distance, around -10%, players should feel increased damage by +5% from Extra Charge . In other words, the weapon will have a lower yield at long distances, on the other hand, it will have a higher damage.

Finally, the developers point out that the Free Fire update in March 2022 takes place this Wednesday (23) and in the period from 00:00 to 09:00 hours the server will be closed for maintenance and Battle Royale will be down.
