The next Free Fire update is coming and will bring significant changes to Garena 's Battle Royale, among the main changes in the new version are changes to the character Kenta , one of the least used in the game due to the difficulty in using his ability. According to sources exclusive to Free Fire Mania , the character Kenta will receive improvements and have his ability (power) increased.

According to a source from Garena , Kenta was being a character with lower defensive skills than Chrono (CR7), this is because the use of his skill required a higher degree of technique so that it was possible to take advantage of all his power. With the changes, Free Fire developers hope to give Kenta another chance.

After the update , Kenta's shield will be active while the player fires simultaneously. In addition, the shield's protection will be reduced , check out what Garena has prepared for the character in the January update (2023):

“It's obvious that defensive skills like Chrono are more popular than skills like Kenta. The skill level required to use Kenta's abilities makes him less popular with most players. This change is expected to drive Kenta's use as a counter-offensive specialist."

Now, check out how the character Kenta was after the changes in his skill (Samurai Protection):

  • Forms a 5 meter wide shield that reduces damage from weapons coming from the front by 50%. When shooting, the overall damage reduction is only reduced by 10%. Lasts 2/3/3.5/4/4.5/5 seconds. Use time: 150/140/130/120/110/100 seconds.

It is worth remembering that the improvements to the Kenta character are not yet available on Free Fire and will only be ready after the update on January 11, 2023.
