The next Free Fire update is coming and will bring significant changes to Garena 's Battle Royale, among the main changes in the new version are changes to the character Skyler , one of the most used in the game. According to sources exclusive to Free Fire Mania , the character Skyler received a nerf and had his ability (power) reduced.

According to a Garena source, Skyler was being a very difficult opponent for the Ice Walls and the changes should balance the character with the others. In this way, Skyler was nerfed and the time needed to destroy the Ice Wall was increased, as well as HP recovery was removed.

Confirmed by Free Fire Mania , the changes to the Skyler character take effect after the Free Fire January 2023 update, scheduled to air on the 11th, Wednesday.

“Skyler is a tough opponent for Walls of Ice, and that's known by every player. Enemies hit by Skyler's ability barely have time to strike back. We've made changes to the Breaker skill and replaced it with damage per second. This will help Walls of Ice users without taking Skyler's powers too far. Meanwhile, we are also eliminating the healing effect.”

So, here's how Skyler's Breaker ability will look after the nerf in the January 2023 update:

• Releases a frontal sonic wave within 50/58/67/77/88/100 yards, causing blast armor to explode and dealing damage to Ice Walls within 3.5 yards for 4 seconds. Use time: 75/70/65/60/55/50 seconds.

It is worth remembering that the nerf on the character Skyler is not yet available on Free Fire and will be ready after the update on January 11th and 2023.
