Free Fire nerfs AC80 and Spear; SCAR is improved; check out the new weapon balance
Changes take place after the Free Fire May 2022 update, which is scheduled to arrive this Wednesday (25)
The Free Fire May 2022 update arrives this Wednesday (25th) and players will be able to download the new OB34 version of the APK through the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. However, individuals will not be able to access the game and test out the new features until the scheduled maintenance break ends.
According to the update notes, which the Free Fire Mania portal had exclusive access to , the developers have balanced many factors with the new version to deliver a better overall user experience. A variety of buffs and nerfs have been applied to characters and weapons.

- FAMAS : Effective range -10% (NERF)
- M14 : Damage -3%, Effective Range -4% (NERF)
- M4A1-Z : Fire Speed -3% (NERF)
- Groza : Armor Penetration -8% (NERF)
- SCAR : Armor Penetration +8% ( BUFF )
- AC80 : Fire speed -10% (NERF)

- VSS: Fire Speed -10% (NERF)
- UMP: Minimum damage -15% (NERF)
sniper
- KAR98K : Fire speed -10% (NERF)
- Healing Rifle : Reload Speed +8%, Healing +50% ( BUFF )

- M79 ( Grenade Launcher ): Damage -15%, Blast Radius -10% (NERF)
It is worth remembering that the update is scheduled to take place from midnight this Wednesday (25), players can access the hour and minute counter to know how much time is left for the new OB34 version to arrive and its maintenance time, when the game servers will be closed.
