With almost all of the major Free Fire updates , some of the character's abilities are balanced. Of the six major updates in 2021 , characters' abilities have been "buffed" and "nerfed" in five of them. Beforehand, it is important to clarify that " buffs " and " nerfs " are terms used in the gamers world and mean improvement and weakening in skills, respectively.

While some buffs were very satisfying, some nerfs were downright disappointing. All Free Fire characters that were augmented and nerfed through major updates in 2021 are listed below.

All Free Fire characters buffed and nerfed in 2021

1) Chrono (CR7)

After OB27 update

• Damage Blocking: 600
• Increase in player movement speed: 5%
• Increased Allies Movement Speed: Eliminated
• Skill reuse time: 200 seconds

After OB30 Update

• Damage Blocking: 600
• Increase in player movement speed: 5%
• Skill reuse time: 250 seconds.

After OB31 update

• Damage Block: 800
• Increased player movement speed: Removed
• Skill reuse time: 180 seconds.

2) Wukong

After OB27 update

• Transformation duration: 10 seconds
• Gun firing will cancel the cloaking effect.
• Skill reuse: 300 seconds
• Skill reuse will restart after defeating an enemy

After OB30 Update

• Movement speed reduction when skill is activated: 20%

3) A124

• Converting from EP to HP: 20
• Conversion speed: 4 seconds
• Skill reuse: 10 seconds

4) Misha

• Increase in driving speed: 5%
• Damage decreased while driving the vehicle: 5%
• Harder to steer while driving

5) Olivia

• Extra HP boost for players being revived by character: 30

6) Maxim

After OB27 update

• Faster consumption of medical kits: 15%

After OB31 update

• Faster consumption of medical kits: 5%

7) Paloma

• Except for Grenade Launcher ammo, up to 120 extra ammo is carried in the backpack.

8) Evelyn

• Sweep radius: 50 meters
• Duration: 5 seconds
• Waiting time: 75 seconds

9) Laura

• Accuracy increases by 10% while aiming.

10) Luqueta

• HP recovered after each kill: 10 (up to a maximum of 35)

11) Shani

• Restores armor durability after each kill: 10%
• Upgrade armor up to level 3

12) Alvaro

• Explosive weapon damage: 10%

13) Andrew "The Fearless"

• Damage reduction: 5%

14) Shiro

• Skill reuse time: 25 seconds

15) Kamir

• Recovery: 3 EP
• Time: 2.2 seconds (up to a maximum of 150 EPs)

16) D-good

• Accuracy: 20%

17) Thiva

• Increase in help speed: 10%

Note: All abilities are at the character's minimum level. Players can level up their characters to make them more powerful.
