Garena changes Chrono's skill in Free Fire again (May 2022)
Cooldown time for using Chrono's shield will be reduced and the character should appear more often in Battle Royale matches
The life of players who use Chrono has not been easy in recent times, constant changes in this character's ability have directly altered the way he behaves on the battlefield. Now, Garena has decided to change the Chrono skill again, at least that's what is being shown in the Free Fire Advanced Server May 2022 test APK.
Although Chrono suffered a significant nerf in the December 2021 update , the developers resolved that the character was too weak and are now applying a small fix to his ability.
As of the next FF update , scheduled to take place on May 25th according to exclusive information from Free Fire Mania, Chrono will have an improvement and will experience a reduction in the waiting time for using his skill .

In other words, the time players can use Chrono's ability has been reduced and this should make the character's shield appear more often during matches.

With a skill cast time in 120 100 seconds , Chrono 's Tuned Shield creates an impenetrable force field capable of blocking 800 damage. The field lasts only six seconds. However, it should be remembered that players inside it cannot attack outside of it and vice versa.
Skill changes over time
The OB31 update was a nightmare for Chrono users. Before that, Chrono was on everyone's lips, but that changed after the December 1, 2021 update.
While the cooldown has been slightly reduced from 180 seconds to 120 seconds ( and will now be reduced again ) and the damage blocking ability and effective time have been increased, the following two main attributes have been completely stripped from him:
- Ability to shoot opponents from within the force field.
- The increase in movement speed when activating the skill.
It is worth remembering that the change is available to be tested on the Advanced Server APK and there is still no official communication from Garena about the changes to the Chrono character's ability .
