Expensive,

We regret to announce the cancellation of the Free Fire Champions Cup (FFCC) 2020, due to the evolution of the global situation around COVID-19. Our commitment at Garena has always been to prioritize the health and well-being of everyone involved, including players, fans, partners and teams. It was this commitment that made us take this difficult decision.

Our Free Fire eSports team has been monitoring the situation closely and paying attention to the recommendations of the relevant authorities. This is an unprecedented period for offline and online sports - especially for international events - and everyone is working hard to do their best for their communities and planning accordingly. We would like to assure fans that we explored all possibilities before this decision to completely cancel the FFCC 2020, which was scheduled to take place on April 9, 2020 in Jakarta, Indonesia, and had been postponed without a new date.

We know that many of you were looking forward to the FFCC 2020, and so are we. The FFCC is a showcase of the best in the passionate Free Fire global community. Any other variation of the tournament would not fulfill our commitment to providing the best eSports experience for our community.

We are committed to providing the Free Fire community with alternative eSports content, and the team has worked hard on all preparations. Currently there is the Rei do Solo championship, which has players from all over Brazil competing for a prize of R $ 16 thousand in matches in Contra Squad mode. We will also channel our energy to ensure that future Free Fire eSports events are filled with all of our usual excitement, fervor and more - as we go through this difficult time together.

We thank our community for their understanding and continued support, especially during these difficult times. It is worth mentioning again that everyone's health and well-being are of the utmost priority now. Take care and be safe. We will come out of this stronger as a large Free Fire community.

Best regards,

All of us at Free Fire
