The latest major Free Fire eSports tournament, called Free Fire World Series 2021, is underway in Singapore. The world championship has a grand prize of US $ 2 million.

The FFWS 2021 Play-Ins ended yesterday with three teams qualifying for the Grand Finals.

According to the popular esports statistics website Esports Charts, Play-Ins have garnered a large audience on various streaming platforms, with the tournament reaching a peak audience of 1,239,891 viewers.

The audience peaked during the 2nd drop of Play-Ins. At the time of this writing, Play-Ins were viewed for 3,603,931 hours.

Recalling that the audience disclosed here is global and only on YouTube, adding all Free Fire servers, so it does not count towards the award goal set by Garena.

The tournament final, scheduled for May 30, will feature 12 teams from around the world. With the best of the best competing, the audience is bound to break new records and cross the previous mark established during the Play-Ins.

The teams from Latin America and Southeast Asia will be the ones that will be most attentive during the finals. These regions are considered to be the best in Free Fire electronic sports, with the teams here finishing at the top of the leaderboards during previous global events.
