Free Fire, one of the most popular mobile Battle Royale, has had an excellent 2021 so far too. The title developed by Garena broke several records in terms of revenue and downloads and was also nominated for many prestigious awards. Free Fire was the second most downloaded game in the first half of 2021, with over 100 million downloads in total.

However, with this success, some obstacles will certainly arise. Garena, like most other popular titles, has had to deal with the threat of hacks, with players using third-party software to gain an unfair advantage in the game.

To solve this problem, the Free Fire developers have implemented an anti-hack system that detects and bans these cheaters. Free Fire also allows its players to report cheaters/hackers they encounter in-game, expanding their horizons and effectively banning cheaters.

Along with this, the developers also publish fortnightly reports on the types of hacks used and the number of banned accounts.

In the last fortnightly report, Free Fire claimed to have banned a total of 1,255,499 accounts for cheating, a slight 15% increase from the numbers in the last report . 59% of these accounts were banned as a result of player reports. In addition, a total of 11,115 accounts were banned for voluntarily joining hackers.

Free Fire publishes list of most banned types of hacks

1) Automatic aim (69%)

2) Teleportation (14.9%)

3) Wallhack (14.3%)

4) Others (1.8%)

Auto-aim continues to lead the charts among the main types of hacks used by players, relying on the hack to eliminate their enemies. "Teleportation" and Wallhack is on the second and third points.

Free Fire has assured its player base that it has tweaked its anti-hack measures and optimized its detection methods for a better gaming experience. They also asked players to continue playing fairly and to keep the game fun for everyone.
